Meet Conna
My love for Piedmont sparked in 1989. My husband and I were expecting our first child and we wanted a home near our extended families. I grew up in San Francisco and Peter in Danville, so our primary focus was location and Piedmont offered a quick 30ish-minute trip in either direction for family gatherings. We bought our first home and soon discovered we had invested in much more than a convenient location. We were enchanted with Piedmont’s tree lined streets, detached homes, pristine parks and it seemed everyone we met wanted to tell us about Piedmont’s exceptional schools. Our first Piedmont 4th of July celebration awakened us to small-town charm. We were smitten. And now, 35 years after this beautiful city and its residents welcomed us, provided my family a foundation,

nurtured us and our three incredible children, indoctrinated and encouraged me into a lifetime of participation, I am running for re-election because I want to be part of the decision-making that keeps Piedmont a special place to live. My husband, Peter Craigie and I, feel blessed to have raised our family in this wonderful community. I have enjoyed serving on Council for the past four years. It is a privilege to work with dedicated staff and committed community leaders, as we work together to solve problems and serve residents. I am inspired and enthusiastic to continue service as a member of our City Council. My experience as an attorney, my four years of experience on council, combined with my prior experience as a city commissioner and longtime community leader make me a well-qualified and accountable representative. For all these reasons and so many more, I humbly ask for your vote on Tuesday November 5th.
